Yup, one more preview image shows him appearing in Legacy #230. No surprise, but still nice to see him!

There's a preview image of the next issue (I think) of Uncanny over at http://uk.comics.ign.com/articles/105/1055811p2.html, the last panel of which looks quite interesting...
That's from Uncanny #519, Phil. Another link with more pages is here: http://www.newsarama.com/php/multime....php?aid=32508

Yes, looks like Jeffries powers are being explored even further.Originally Posted by rplass
Personally, I have no problems with him expanding upon his powers and being shown as smarter. It would only seem natural that after he started focusing on his powers as a hero, he might learn more about what he can do. And as far as the intelligence, just because he appeared in the beginning as an average joe, that doesn't mean that he didn't always have the potential to be a thinker. In nfact, I know people tat easily could have graduated from Harvard at the top of the class but have chosen to be a commercial fisherman instead...
Wonder what kind of vision that is.Originally Posted by rplass

I always thought it kind of crippled him to be stuck in that thing (I thought he was more powerful out of it), but I liked its look.

Jeffries makes it into X-Men Legacy #234 (out this week), just one panel appearance in a very embarrassing situation!

He's hard to see clearly in the preview page, but Jeffries also appears in X-Men Legacy #236, running from the explosion and surviving! You can see his little splash next to the oil rig. Sort of strange timing with the oil rig explosion recently in the Gulf, right?

Hmmmm..probably for the best Bastion and Jeffries don't meet.
Carey gets it WRONG again in X-Men: Legacy #244 out this week. He calls him "Dr. Jeffries" again but the whole issue is so full of Rogue's boobs that most people won't notice. Boobs everywhere. Total boobage. Carey makes Jeffries all super-smart again, picking up on the whole "liminal sub-space doorway" stuff from the Devil at the Crossroads arc from last year. It's a fairly significant appearance by page/panel count for MISTER Jeffries, shame he doesn't suit up into his Box armor though!
