My Website
So, a couple of weeks back I launched my new website, http://lifelessordinarywebnovel.com/home.html
It's pretty cool, there is a bunch of pages there (Home, About, Life Less Ordinary, Contact, The Story, The Characters, About Universe Ca-7), you can explore around using the interface bar at the top of the site or just muddle your way through.
I am trying to immerse the curious in the world of fiction I am creating, which is contained (so far) within the ongoing web-novel Life Less Ordinary.
Speaking of Life Less Ordinary, the first chapter has just been posted less than an hour ago!
This isn't fan fiction, this is a whole new universe that I am creating, wherein my main character, Drew, finds himself living a quite uneventful life life, until his life becomes anything but uneventful.
He is a bit of a new(ish) take on a superhero (yes, he does gain super powers), as he has problems with self-esteem and with controlling his own thoughts and fears...and he doesn't deal too well with emotions, either. None of which is a big help when he discovers that his whole past has just been thrown upside down and put through an emotional blender!
There is also a video wherein I talk about the things that inspire me to write (hint: "John Byrne" and "Alpha Flight" MIGHT get a shout-out...). It promises to be an interesting writing chore for me, as Drew is loosely based on me (and my life, and the people whom have come and gone through it so far), and, like me, he will be dealing with the death of his father and trying to get a handle on just what that means to him. I guess you might say that it is a self-reflective work.
So, anybody who wants to check it out, feel free to do so.
