I just saw the first ep of season 2.

I agree with the above - a great starting episode, good use of an established Marvel villain.

    Maybe?

I got the feeling we were supposed to recognise the Doctor at the end. I didn't.

Will we get an origin for the main villain, do you suppose? I mean, we already had Lorelei last season.

... happened to Fitz. But glad that Skye is more like May and less like 1st season Skye. The scene with the little chain and wrecking ball was perfect. Nice job, dude who researches Marvel stuff for the fan service.

Strangely enough, that's probably Jeph Loeb.

I hadn't noticed his name in the credits, but he does that kind of thing a lot. (Actually, the only person I looked for in the credits was that actress I swear they only hired because she looked like --. Turned out, they might've hired her because she is --.)

I wouldn't be surprised, though. While a lot of people bash Loeb, I've only ever said he's overrated - an average writer who the comic book industry treat like a superstar.

And he does that kind of work - Smallville and Heroes spring to mind.

    Episode 2 was slightly better.

Slightly is being a bit generous. My son, who likes shows like this, refused to watch after 10 minutes of episode one and walked away to wash dishes rather than listen to ep 2. Both were very meandering, trying to create more mysteries without doing anything of real substance. Tired of no plot development, IMO.

Hm. Mokole, my brother from another mother?

lol. I can't say I hate this show, because clearly I don't. But I don't love it, either. I thought season one had a lot of problems, many of which the first two episodes of this season have shown to still be true. Nevertheless, i will likely still watch it, waiting for the good-to-great episodes that will probably come down the pipeline at some point.

I'll say this - the show is a bit better than the comics that Marvel produces (which I also do not regularly buy).

Well, this could get a bit interesting, and I'm sure the latter would appeal to some fans on this board:

That would be cool. And, y'know, it'd fit with what they've done so far. (Although... making it work visually? Mind: boggled.)

Haha I'm currently selling the issue for 1.50 on eBay. For weeks only had a few views and no watchers, but the past day had over 50 views and 2 watchers. I was wondering if he got announced to appear somewhere.

I bought them all up when the original New Warriors started. Still holding on to them.

If we could just get Purple Girl to appear on this show, we could all make some $.
