Nope. My alternate brain mind conscious probe thingy was replaced by a toaster oven a long time ago.

(Evil Doctor's Note: "Not JUST his alternate brain, either! Mwah Hah Hah Haha Ha!")

Although I hope that "AGENTS of S.H.I.E.L.D." doesn't get too monster-y, Ward turning out to be a double agent and HYDRA messing with S.H.I.E.L.D. big-time makes sticking with the series more worthwhile. Coulson has more dedication to what S.H.I.E.L.D. is supposed to be about and has a mini-meltdown at the same time...not bad for a "zombie robot back from the dead."

Somebody better find out that Victoria Hand and her two agents got bumped off, soon. [Nobody had their guns drawn when Ward was offered to shoot Garrett...come on]

A lot of people got busted out of the fridge, which should make happy the folks who want the Marvel cinematic universe to expand.

Never follow the red herring. Look at the whole overview of the series, take a step back; it shouldn't be too hard to see where the writers are waving fish at you to get your attention - as with all magicians, look at the other hand. The obvious is never where this is going in the end...which, of course, makes how it will all turn out very predictable.

People, please, please, PLEASE, can we have spoiler space for the preview on the main page?

While I may not be loving the series, I'd rather not have seen the plot-twist before the episode has aired in my country.

I don't see how they can reconcile all the killing Ward has done if they want him to be a SHIELD mole or something. Twisted, demented, easily lead, another Fury mole? But he's killed at least 5 high-ranking SHIELD officials plus many other agents, hard to argue that he's a good guy. The new guy may be his replacement. I didn't see the new episode.
Keep your stick on the ice.

    Live it.

Hope I get to see these when I get home (I've missed them here - I pulled into Tulsa too late to see that one episode, and barely know what day of the week it is anyway).

Sounds like things are taking twists, though.

    SPOILER FREE!

So, anybody else aware that season 2 has started?

I watched the new first episode.

I thought it was...decent. Par for the course.

A nice enough introduction of a well established Marvel villain (easy enough to know, right off the bat, who it was), and a neat flashback to an earlier decade (meant to establish some background for another Marvel tv show starting this Fall).

Other than that, and a few minor/major characters introduced, it feels all the same as last season did. I'm not overly excited, but that was how i felt last season too. But, many of you will likely enjoy this more than i did.

And that is my spoiler-free thoughts.

I knew it was coming, and I know who the villain is in the first episode. Even seen a pic!

I don't know when I'll get to see it, though.

    SPOILER FREE !!!

Watched the season opener a couple of nights ago... very impressed. This series, in my humble opinion, has hit the ground running in Season 2.
The writing was absolutely phenomenal. Plot twists that really work, a VERY recognizable Marvel Universe villain who is perfect for this level, some new additions who look quite intriguing, and a few cameo appearances at the beginning that I was happy to see.
It seemed like they may have even increased the budget for this series this year... there were some really well done graphics (especially surrounding the villain) which bode well for the upcoming episodes.
I won't say anymore as it may void my "SPOILER FREE" disclaimer.

    Enjoy the ride !!!

I liked it better than most episodes in S1 but mainly because they took an established Marvel villain and used him well.

There were still lots I didn't think worked, such as Coulson running the show and the tone generally but it's a definite improvement on most of S1.

I also liked the opening scene and it's characters a lot.

That's good to hear for a villain like that. I hope they didn't blow their budget on the first ep!

No, sorry, it's just the villains that are finger puppets. But the heroes will all be played by their stunt doubles to save money. (insert epic Spaceballs movie quote here)
