Default Iron Man 3 - spoiler free

It was pretty good... I didn't like it as much as the first two, but your mileage may vary.

There were some awesome moments, but they made some choices that I found... disappointing. They could have done more with some of the things they had.

The post-Avengers stuff meant they kept bringing up the events of that movie.

The point where Stark was dragging the armour through the snow until he runs into the feet of Sasquatch would've been totally awesome if I hadn't just made that up.

I didn't like their take on Mandarin.

    Cheers!
I was considering catching the midnight screening in a few hrs, but I think I'll just wait a few days.

Yeah, I skipped the midnight showing (on Tuesday night) as well... I'd just got back from seeing the Blue Öyster Cult in Sydney, and was exhausted, plus two days after the midnight showing (today / Thursday) was a public holiday - so I could have a late night last night and not worry about it.

Also, the closing credits had this 70s TV show thing going that I loved.

    I really enjoyed it.

Easily my favourite solo Marvel film and in time might prefer it to Avengers.

And I actually really enjoyed what they did with Mandarin.

A lot of people did; but for me, it was a huge let down.
