    Default Uncanny #429 - old Northstar non-appearance

I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned here before, but it's new to me, so I thought I'd mention it again.

In Uncanny X-Men #429, Professor X tells Juggernaut to get Northstar to fly him to Vancouver, because he's a qualified pilot (!). (Possibly also because he's Canadian, though that's not brought up.)
Juggernaut shows up in Vancouver by the end, so Northstar is present in the issue, though he isn't seen at all.

Just out of curiosity, since Northstar can run (or fly) at high speeds, I'm guessing that his flying an aircraft would make about as much sense as him owning a sports-car; purely for the enjoyment of it?

There is seriously no reason why he wouldn't be able to fly a plane...
but as far as I know, that one panel is the only mention of it ever.

Wouldn't that be like a hyperactive Olympic sprinter going for a walk with a bus tied to his ankle?

Not really... it'd be more like the sprinter riding the bus, even though it'd be quicker to run.
Northstar's plane is still doing all the work for him.
