That should give me almost enough time to read the book...
which is sitting behind me right now. Staring.

"Former Alpha Flight operative Windshear, Now Retired-- Colin Hume" appears in Red She Hulk #63!

He's in 3 pages (7 panels) as a guest on a TV talk show discussing superhumans, and specifically Red She-Hulk, and he's on the panel as the expert on superhumans.

There's an image of him in his Windshear armour projected onto the screen behind him as he talks in one of the panels, and it's a really nice and respectful little cameo.

It was such a great cameo and was done with a lot of respect. To even use him was a huge surprise.

There's an image of him in his Windshear armour projected onto the screen behind him...
Specifically, during the Canadian Flag uniform period.

It was an interesting, obscure, and slightly bizarre choice of cameo. Pretty cool.

Unless I missed them, the Hudsons don't appear in #1 of Ult. Wolverine, but we've seen them in the preview for #2 so know they're in that.

Just read Ult. Wolverine 1. The Hudsons - James and Renee Hudson are mentioned but not shown. So yeah, wait for issue 2.

    Renee?

On the very first page, it says - Jimmy grew up believing that he was the child of human parents, James and Renee Hudson.

Not sure if this is a typo like the infamous Jean-Claude incident from last year.

Do we know who Jimmy's mother was? Woudln't it be cool if it was Heather???

So I reread Ultimate Comics X 1 and James refers to his wife as Heather and she works at the local radio station "Heather in the Morning" in Florida. She refers to Jimmy as her "son." And she sure looks exactly like 616 Heather. So this Renee is either a typo or Cullen Bunn is doing a retcon. We're supposed to find out by the end of the mini who Jimmy's real mom is.

Is the Renee bit on the recap page or in an illustrated page?
As it's the editorial team that write the recap.

I seriously read that last word with a touch of dyslexia, (apparently missing an 'e', too) and thought you were editorialising...

Recap page. So now we can blame Mark Paniccia for this

No, it tends to be the junior editors or even interns if I've read correctly.
