    but as a long term reader I hate new #1's for the sake of it.
    See, this is where i respect DC a bit more than Marvel on this point. DC may have pissed some people off with their full-on reboot, but at least that made it have A POINT. Other than the almighty dollar, i mean. Not that DC isn't interested in that, too, though.

    It's ALL about the almighty dollar. Nothing wrong with that, per se. The difference is it once seemed that the comic companies depended on a quality product to drive their sales, whereas now it seems more like they depend on gimmicks and events to keep the coffers flowing.
