Nice! I've been collecting that series from the beginning (since I love me everything Age of Apocalypse) and already have it on my pull list! Looks as if similar powered Mesmero and Kara got together.
Love,

Well, that one's now on my list!

Willow: I'll give Xander a call. What's his number? Oh, yeah, 1-800-I'm-Dating-A-Skanky-Ho.
Buffy: Meow.
Willow: Really? Thanks. I've never gotten a "meow" before.
Anyone else pick it up? That's Kara's only scene, but possible we could see more of her. Pretty interesting issue, despite the continuing typographical errors in the text. No proofreading anymore? Except for that, this series is really impressing me so far.
Yup. I love the cover. AoA Jean Grey looks like she came right out of a Liefeld book from the nineties. Only thing missing is shoulder pads on her.
My only complaint this issue was that AoA Kara was just in 1 panel.
I've been getting the series, as like Rob I loved the AoA.
I'm sort of enjoying it; the storyline's a good one but it seems quite disjointed from the Original AoA and even the follow up mini-series; there seem to be a lot of differences and continuity errors from it. I know the UXF issues changed a lot of stuff but part of me wonders whether it'd have been better as a completely different universe.
Is Age of Apocalypse a alternate reality comic of the Marvel Universe? I'm guessing there was an old one (where Northstar died one time, right?) and this is... a reboot? Continuaty?
No, this is a continuation of the same alternate Universe, it's just the first ongoing series.
Yep I picked it up, and Im a nut for AofA so it was a no-brainer. Lots of Alpha Flight cameos I didnt expect so far.
Have there been any others so far? :-/
It's based on the semi-real reality that came out in the 90s. It's set in an alternate reality to the mainstream Marvel Universe (616), but one which had to be destroyed for 616 to continue.
In it, Charles Xavier died before founding his school. Then everything turned into this post-Apocalyptic nightmare dystopia.

Wild Child appears in Uncanny X-Force 11, 12, 13, and gets killed in issue 17.
Wild Child's costume appears in a tube in Uncanny X-Force 19 and 25.
In the new ongoing Age of Apocalypse series,
Madison Jeffries name appears mispelled on a computer screen in issue #4 (no dead body seen, just his name on a screen)
and Purple Girl appears in one panel in issue #5.
If I missed any appearances, I'm sure Phil or Rob or K-M will correct me

And for the completionists, AoA Wild Child is also on the cover of last year's Captain America #1 Fan Expo Canada variant
That's all the recent appearances that I know of.
