Hmm... one of them has Talisman as an Avatar! ...Is that you?

I notice, though, that she thinks they have no powers - false.

When did she get that last name? I think I remember her having it, but I don't know from when.

Great... now I'm forgetting the Byrne stuff.

    That's pretty, um... thing...

Reading through issue's #29 & 30, it's definitely actually her rather than an LMD

Oh? I stopped reading at issue 28. I had assumed that they had picked back up the plotline of issues 22-25 (after the Phoenix interlude in issues twenty-six - twenty-eight), where there were fighting a secret society of Adaptoids (that came about from the World War II UK Weapon Plus program titled "Descendant") whom can (and do) take the forms/powers of super-villains and super-heroes.

if you are reading the series still, is Gabriel Hardman still doing the art? *Shudder*. It was his work that was the main reason I quit the series; AWFUL!

I don't know who's doing it, but it is awful. Scratchy and sketchy, and coloured by dragging it through a mud puddle.

Yup, that'd be Hardman! And Bettie Brettweiser had been doing the colours (such as they were).

#29 onwards is actually artwork by Matteo Scalera, but it's pretty similar.

I like both him and Hardman personally, the artwork's more suited for a dirty-dozen type undercover book like this, than a cleaner artist or manga-esque artist would be.

I'll give it that: it does suit the tone of the book somewhat.

I don't know how to feel about that. She wasn't really doing much here as it is, but still, why ruin an AF villain?
