Looks pretty rad. Nic Cage does an awesome job with this character.

I hope it will be better than the first. It's by the same guys who did the Crank movie.

I thought the first one was pretty wicked! Not sure how they could top it (and, seriously, how many second movies don`t stink compared to the first one).

GR 1 was okay, but I just have a serious problem with Nick Cage. I really can't name a film up to 'National Treasure' that I didn't enjoy. After, not one I've totally enjoyed.

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!

Well in the case of GR, it could have been better. The charater could have been darker, but it ended up looking like a 90's superhero movie with a main bad guy and his 3 chronies, each one with a different earth power. With so much back stories and most of the Blaze era GR wasn't tied down to continuations or cross overs, GR I could have been really good. However MSJ is just (IMHO) a bad director/ screanplay writter. Remember Dare Devil? Same guy did DD did GR I.

I actually LIKED Daredevil! And i can't stand Affleck, and can't stand DD comics, but i thought the movie was quite good.

Frank Miller did a Dare Devil 5 part mini series back in the 90's, it was suppose to be the idea for a DD movie. It was awsome, and like you I'm not fond of DD books, but this rocked. The DD movie had too many plot line and charaters that should have been made into 2 movies. 1st movie should have been how he became DD and trying to take down the Kingpin, with meeting Elektra. 2nd should have brought in Bullseye and the Death of Elektra and the fall of the Kingpin. I know that the movie studios like to cram everything in 1 movie, but that sacrifices the story. Movie studios also don't want to take chances on sequils unless it really make a fortune at the box office.

Like I said GR was okay, but knowing the charater and the background stories, the've could have picked a better one and not put in so many lame made up charaters. Ghost Rider should have been more reackless and mean. Blaze got controll of the GR way too fast in the film which sucked. The thing that drew me into GR was that Blaze was on top of the world and then fell from grace (sort of) He had it all, but because his mentor was dying from cancer he sold his soul to save him, and ended getting screwed. He had to live with that decition through out the book and he lost everything, his stunt show, his girl, money, and eventully his title of the best stunt rider in the world. But while all this was happing around him the demon was getting stronger, and they were fighting for control of his body. The inner struggle is what I really wanted to see, and hope to see in the next film, and hopefully they'll give GR some addituted.

But another thing that brings my piss to a boil is that every time GR is in another book they always punk him down, and this is due to the writters not knowing anything about GR. It's like having Puck go into a Spider Man book and thinking he's just a short guy who tumbles round and ignoring his wit and ablities and the fact that he had (has) a demon inside of him that was the curse of making him smaller.

Speaking of things that are lame and made-up...
