    Default Cover for Alpha #5

    I'm glad to see AF taking on some more notible charaters in the MU. I jut don't like the image of Guardian walking around with a gun. It's very 90's. + he's got all that power with him in the suite, he dosen't need a gun. I just hope it's just for "artistic" reasons. What they are I wouldn't know.

    Any chance Rob Liefeld is the cause? lol. I gotta admit, i liked a lot of the work he did, back in the day. Teams like Youngblood were really fascinating characters. He had some really good Image stuff going too, at the time.

    Liefeld guns are much bigger. Normally you need to have enhanced strength just to pull the trigger. Maybe Wyre is supplying the arms?

    I was going to reply to this image but there is just so much wrong with it I don't know where to begin (the wings on his head are even crooked but man is that ever a square jaw). I just wonder who he has stuck in that costume with him.

    Oh...my! That's...horrible! That art is so bad, it could have been in AF Vol 1! (Come on, there was some brutal bad art in Volume 1; admit it!)

    Yeah Vol 1 had some bad art after Jim Lee left, but none of them ever did 501 jean commercials. I don't even rember their names, which is a good thing, but Liefeld was very popullar (for what ever reasons is beyond me). Still to this day I'm baffaled to why he was so popullar back in the day. I never liked his work pre-say, nore did I like McFarlane's work either. I find quantom physics easier to understand than why Liefeld was so popullar. I know that you are a fan of his Flightpath07, maybe you can shed some light on this.
