Thank you Marvel! Finally something going on at the House of Ideas that I want to spend money on. Hopefully if the series continues they can rescue Persuasion out of the X-abyss and bring her in to a new Beta Flight.

Not sure if the print article will be any more in detail.

I love this! It's the way to get over the 'They're just the Canadian Xvengers, the only hook is they're Canadian' - he was hooked without knowing that.
I also love that this article was put together by somebody who really knows their stuff!
They used the Byrne #1 cover-based promotional sketch! Yay!

There is an X-Men: Alpha Flight hardcover listed at Marvel coming out in May 4th. Anyone know what that is about? No info is available.

I notice Heather is mentioned in the solicit for #0.1 (thanks Phil!!!), so even though she was off panel entirely in Chaos War #5, she's back with everyone else. Note also Northstar is listed - I guess he's wrapped up his X-Men stint by then... because we all know it's impossible for a Canadian hero to be in more than one book at a time.

Another FVL interview, mainly stuff already covered, but some food for thought:

The interview moved on from AF a bit quickly, but I liked the way the AF part went. It was a nice way to publicise it, trying to appeal to both old and new readers "You don't need to know anything going in" - that was a good thing to say.

Another FVL podcast with mention of AF:

I haven't listened to it yet so not sure how much is AF or if it's anything new, but hey; it's good publicity for the book.

Yeah, FVL is really publicising it.
Now all we need is a couple of one-page ads in other comics. X-Men spring to mind, especially original Toad. Well, he more just springs around the room and stuff, but you know...
Batroc springs more than Toad now, but he really has less to do with the X-Men. Unless you want to get into Victoriana, and Spring-Heel Jack, but then that leads to Jack the Ripper, and that's terrible.

So, in conclusion, don't jump around a lot.
