Except for the ridiculous 'Flex is Wolverine Jr. part.' That has got to stop.

Good read. I really liked that issue where the guy got killed because his son saw what was in his briefcase, very good issue. Volume 2 was one I stayed with from start to finish and it should have lasted until now (what, issue 200?).

Naw, knowing Marvels penchant for re-numbering it should be around issue #500.1.

    ?
That was the rumour at the time, which is what the article reported on. Or are you being ironic?
    I can never tell.

You mean issue 2 would be out next week.

    How so?

Actually, when i originally read Volume II, I never picked up on this at all. Was this actually what the author intended? I had thought that his father was maybe Colossus...Wolverine never even crossed my mind.

Speaking of which, did anybody ever discover who Puck II's mother was?

I believe that author told us that outside of the series proper.
    I could be misremembering.

    I think Puck I did.

Nay, they did indeed mention Flex was intended to be Wolverine's son. Which is funny, because that's SUCH a bad idea to everyone... yet, now he has a son (with nearly exact same powers) running around (even pretending to be Wolverine during the Dark Avengers) and there's X-23 who is an exact duplicate as well, except for the fact she's female (who strangely enough showed up initially in FANG's outfit from the Imperial Guard - why was that again?)

One of the many sites that note: http://www.comicvine.com/flex/29-5013/
It was suggested, but never proven, by writer Steven Segle that Flex was the son of Wolverine.

It was suggested that Unus was Radius' father, Wolverine was Flex's father, but I'm thinking what Seagle was going to do was have the 'Legacies' be legacies of the Beta Project, which in one part was experimenting on orphans at Hull House; Radius got Unus DNA upgrades, Flex got Wolverine, Murmur got Emma Frost, Ghost Girl got Shadowcat, Ouija got Destiny, Flinch got.....

Huh?! Where are you getting the Murmur/Emma Frost and Ghost Girl/Shadowcat connections from?

I had heard the same with Ghost Girl and Shadow Cat, actually. The Murmur/Emma I hadn't heard anything about. But I assume it's telepathy. Although it would seem closer to Purple Man and/or Purple Girl than Emma.
