    In public, I mean.

They really look to me like they're something that's tied to his wrists.

As long as Northstar has a higher level than an ordinary commoner, he should be okay.

I'd love to see that in a comic. S'rously. A character taking the time out (with stringy things like that) to play with cats... it'd just be a cool moment.

My off-the-cuff guess: Northstar controls more light as he is no longer sharing his power with his sister who is dead. His body may need to shed excess power.

Hmm... ComicVine lists Age of X:Universe as having Madison & Lionel Jeffries appearing... I didn't notice them when I skimmed through #1, but being written by Mr X-Club Oneshot himself, Si Spurrier it'd make sense.

    Anyone else notice them?

    EDIT:

It is indeed the brothers Jeffries!
On page 6 (of actual artwork) there's a flashback panel of them taking down Iron Man!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd confirmed by Si Spurrier himself!

They certainly do! An impressive observation -- most people have missed IDing the Jeffries bros altogether.

Cool. And cooler that they used the much-neglected (and also, dead) Lionel.

Hey, did House of M: Masters of Evil #4 ever come out at all? I'm pretty sure he wasn't going to be in it, but still, I bought the first three for him, I'd like the last issue.

Yah, but the Brothers Jeffries are only in #3.
However Sasquatch & Diamond Lil are in #4

Well, I was hunting it just to finish the mini-, but now there's another reason!

Agh, how do I find it?
Oh, well, I'll figure something out.

Cordelia: I think it's great to do that before you go out and fail in the real world. That way you're not falling back on something. You're falling... well, forward.

Xander: And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

Yeah I read it and had no clue it was the jeffries brothers till I took a much closer look. Makes sense as they brought back several "dead" mutants from the main 616 universe.

Looks as if Box ought to be in the lower left panel as well. Who is Basilisk talking to? I think they left him out! He should be direct left from Basilisk's left shoulder.

And that's definitely Northstar on page 3 of the preview:

2nd panel down, far right - you can see the red wrist thingies

Looks like a couple of the people in the last panel, aren't in the 2nd-last panel, even though they should be. Makes me think that 2nd-last panel has the two conversationalists only in it, because they have turned and therefore screwed up the reader's view, so Box would be just off-panel. That's my best explanation; years too late for the coveted no-prize, eh?
