Thank you all for the comments on the Microheroes!

It's been awhile since I've posted anything here but I decided to post a new set of AF micros for everyone, from 1992 a trip down memory lane...

    Core Alpha:

Guardian, Puck, Northstar, Aurora, Weapon Omega/Wildheart, Windshear & Sasquatch

Cool! I remember that run... but didn't Sas look a lot like a teddy bear at the time?

Yeah, I remember that the artist would draw the hair on his head in the upward "Logan" fashion. And had these big, all-black eyes.

Oh, and those microheroes turned out fantabulous! I loved those costumes, even if the run was only okay.

Agree with Jason, the costumes were great.

The idea of Alpha having a team uniform really worked for me. I liked how they got it working even on people like Windshear, who had a completely different cut of costume, but still the same look overall.

As far as the above Microheroes go, the only real problem would be Puck; his torso should be the same size as everyone else's, just with shorter limbs. His limbs look too proportionate in the pic above.

Everyone knows the correct way to draw Puck is Ron Lim's Puck:

His version looks like he took some Pym particles or something. (Lim's version that is)

Funny I didn't like chinooks (Windshear) costume in the book, but here it actually makes it look not half bad.

    Looks very Stingray-esque.
I'm not sure the cowl works for him (in the comics design, I mean; not the micro hero)

He's got a cape, though! I like capes, and it's been so long...
(Stupid Incredibles, ruin it for everybody...
    Good movie, though.)

I haven't read the comic, but looking at the micro version, and trying to imagine that done as modern artwork, I think like the cowl is there to make him look like Batman.

Why do arrows represent air powers? I'm just curious. Red Tornado, Aang, now Colin.
