Nick Bradshaw - based on this small glimpse of his work, I'd have to add him to my list of artists I currently do not care much for. Well, not him personally, just his work.

Eh, it's a four-issue anthology book. I usually find the stories in these lukewarm to wretched, but I keep my eyes out for the possibility of the stars aligning and someone really knocking it out of the park with a character vignette.

I like these anthologies (sometimes sketchy quality aside since that's generally to be expected), because with the way the X-titles are right now, they're the only way the billion characters that are around other than Cyclops and Emma get any characterization whatsoever.

    I agree with Mistress Merr.
Although from time to time, the characterisation is wrong - why was Northstar acting like a giddy schoolgirl?

He's never acted that way before.
Neither have any of the real-life homosexuals I know.
... or the schoolgirls, come to think of it.

I'm afraid to ask, Mik, if your avatar is a lot like your normal photo? lol.

Mik looks much more like Xander (from Buffy), than he does Sasquatch.

    Northstar... GIDDY?
Lol, must be one of the effects which come from aging.

I hate the idea Northstar is/was a X-Man to begin with, but at least Jean-Paul got his spotlight in the recent crappy horrid non-AF, X-filled years.
NARYA EASTON just saved the world, even if nobody knows.

Which might explain why I was quoting him above...

Well, issue #4 is out today and Northstar makes a single panel cameo. It's in the first story, "X-Dudes". He teleports in with some of the grownups who catch Anole and Rockslide, and it's curious that they picked Northstar to be one of the grownups, because way back, Northstar was Anole's advisor back in the Alpha Squadron days.

    Love,
