When I first read it I thought it was a flashback of the battle from X-Infernus judging from the hand, but yeah in the future Magik is supposed to kill her

Issue is out today and Witchfire does not die!! That preview page is the only page she appears on, and it's a prequel to X-Infernus. It describes how she got hold of the bloodstone amulet. It's badass!
