Default Jeffries in Uncanny X-Men #523

It looks like another X-Club appearance for MadJeff!

    Very tiny on this page

and a little bigger on this page

It's hard to tell what he's doing, but it seems as if he's working with Dr. Rao on one page and explaining some sort of science thingy to Rogue on the other page.

Those two panels are it for Jeffries in the issue sadly.

In other words, I was 100% correct!

Anyone notice what Cyclops calls the top tier X-Men group - Alpha Team? Alpha? What? Why not name them The Avenger Team, or The Justice Society Team or the Fantastic Team, or the Green Lantern Corps Team? Alpha Team? Seriously?

I can understand naming the New Mutant/Academy X Team "Alpha Squadron" when Northstar was the faculty advisor, but using "Alpha" to designate the top tier is just a total rip-off of Byrne's Alpha Flight.

So... what would the second string team be called, the Beta team? I bet the third string is the Gamma Team.

Fake Spoilers for Uncanny #524: Two of the Beta team get promoted to the Alpha Team, then the remainder of Beta and Gamma reorganize into the Omega Team and try to kill the leader of the Alpha Team. Oh, wait, where have I heard that before?

Rplass, I can't judge by your expression if you're kidding...

(I can't even tell what episode you're from, but that's much harder.)

Ah, Jeffries makes it into #524 (not joke spoiler, this time is real news!)

The amputated leg thing (not his leg, don't worry) is quite jarring though!

There are 3 covers solicited for that issue: 1 regular and 2 variants, David Finch Variant and Stephane Roux Heroic Age Variant Cover.

I'd say the most jarring thing about that scene is that an ally is sitting there with a leg blown off and Piotr is trying to get Kitty to watch a DVD while making doe eyes at her.

And what is the Purple Man doing there in the last frame? Is he trying to find Kyra?

Northstar had a lot of panel time in this issue, but all he did was just stand around.

I'm a tad surprised he let Alison cry on his shoulder. Did notice that he stayed away from the funeral, though. Guess he's buried too many people recently.

Jeffries made it into issue #525 too, a small cameo

Would have prefered if Jeffries was the spokesman, but we do know he does really all the hard work himself.

They've been building it up that Dazzler and Northstar hit it off really well for a while now. It does make sense as Dazzler;s love for clubbing might lend herself to be a hag.
