Dark X-Men

hey all,

I'm surprised that Dark X-men hasn't really been a topic of discussion, considering Michael Point aka Guardian, aka Weapon Omega, aka Omega is a full member of this team.

Anyone been reading this title ? Thoughts?

Read it, and it's meh! Nate being back is awesome, but Pointer is pretty much a villian now. He even walked into a room where Beast cut out someone's brain out and he didn't even bat an eye. There has been no mention of his time with Omega Flight, his role as Guardian or really anything so the series doesn't have really anything to do with AF.

I don't consider Pointer to be affilated with Alpha Flight anymore, and kind of glad they revealed Llan may be responsbile for AF's death.

Ben -- I suspect KM's right; very few of us ever liked Pointer being an Alphan, and now that he isn't, we were pretty quick to drop him as one of 'ours'.

I've been enjoying the series and the character of Pointer as a whole, but I havent mentioned it as I seem to be the only one.

I'm pretty much indifferent to Pointer as a character, and he's been pretty boring in Dark X-Men, but the rest of the series is awesome. Loving what they're doing with Mimic, Dark Beast is his usual messed up self, Mystique is a freaking superstar, and it's cool to see X-Man again, even if I'll probably be thoroughly sick of him six months from now.
