    Default Alpha Flight Prized Comic

What is your most prized Alpha Flight comic you own. Mine would be having two copies of Uncanny X-Men #120.

Oh yeah, my copy of Uncanny X-Men #109. No question about it.

I once swore an oath upon it. I can't remember what I swore, some very important thing I was trying to say, but it was something that my cousin didn't believe. It was so frustrating. I was stomping my foot down insisting that it was true, but he wouldn't believe me. Then I went and got out my copy of UXM #109 and put it on the table, kneeled before it and put my left hand on it and raised my right hand and said, "So I swear upon this copy of X-Men #109" After that he believed me. True story.

I bought a second copy to read at some point, so that other copy is sealed shut with tape. When I replaced its bag and board, like I do with my top tier comics every few years, I actually gave it a kiss (after it was bagged of course).

The AF appearance in Ultimate X-Men is my current fave.

    "Why", you ask?

Because they are so seriously frigged-up and completely bad-arse!

Oh nice fave. I wonder if Ultimate Alpha Flight will appear in the new Ultimate Comics relaunched universe?

Meanwhile, here is a picture of said bad-arsery.

I don't remember. I think a girlfriend got it for me for my birthday a long time ago back in the early days of online stuff like eBay.

I just don't have enough cool back issues to compete with you guys. :P And when given the choice between picking up X-Men #108 and #109, I went and bought #108 because I freaking love that issue, but it was a hard choice to make!

So, um, AF #3 I guess, because that cover is AWESOME. Or possibly AF #74, because that cover is also awesome, but for very different, hilarious reasons.

I don't know, but it isn't my copy of UXM #109... because it was in pretty bad condition by the time I got it.

Definitely not the appearance of a bunch of drugged-up X-people dressed up as AF in Ultimate X, though. Ugh.

I would have to go with UXM 120-121 cos they took me over 20 years to get and the feeling of satisfaction when I did .

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!

haha well I just bought UXM #109 off of ebay today. So I got UXM #109 and 120-121. Now debating if I should buy #139-140

Also your most prized comic doesn't have to be the most expensive one. It can be the one you love the most whether it be just for enjoyment or money value

I get that... the condition has just always detracted from my enjoyment of owning it a bit.

I still don't know which is my most prizedest.

X-Men 109, without a doubt. AF 13 took me a long time to find, but 109 eluded me for so long (and the price was a hinderance as well), but when I finally found it, I plunked down the cash and walked out the LCS without a second thought. Great purchase, and it was great to finally read it.

    -K-M-: Definitely get 139 and 140!

I actually picked it up on ebay for $15. I saw some people were selling it for $895 on ebay, but I will see how good the quality it is when it comes. However, I still got a huge bargin for it.
