Well I find it somewhat comical as well that Canada has basically been completly ignored in Secret Invasion. Even Israel showed it was under attack from the Skrulls.

Really?! I didn't even notice that. I guess all of Omega Flight are Skrulls? Perhaps Canada was the first step to world domination.

Other characters can come and go as part of the non-team setting, and I too would like to see Julia stick around.
And I'm waiting for the Skrull reveal from the deaths in the snow. I think the originals were killed along with the real MML and Puck2
