Default Newbie Question re: Alpha Flight movie

    Hey All,

Old time fan, first time poster.

Just wondered if there's ever been any rumblings about an Alpha Flight movie? I loved the comics as a kid and was curious if a movie was in the works given how successful the marvel movies have been.

Not sure why I'm listed as being from Afghanistan! Not that there's anything wrong with it...

Naaaa nothing, but the rumor (and all likely-hood) is the Hudsons (James and Heather) will appear in the upcoming Wolverine movie but that's it.

Actually, the name "Alpha Waves" was the title of the old letter column in the Alpha Flight books way back when. Alpha waves are one type of brain waves, commonly detected by electroencephalography (EEG) or magnetoencephalography (MEG) and predominantly found to originate from the occipital lobe during periods of waking relaxation with the eyes closed.

Alphawaves was also the name given to the first organised mailing list that gave rise to AF.net and the forums. Before then there had been a mailing list, but it was a bit disjointed.

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!
