I have read Watchmen front to back once a year for the past 20 years. I remember as far back as 1988 when they where talking about trying to get the movie made. If you have not read it give it a try. It stands today as my all time favorite.
You may say I'm a dreamer...but I'm not the only one.

Venom: I want to bite their heads off and shove my tongue down their neck holes.
    Songbird: Why?
Venom: So I can lick out their hearts.

I had... mixed results on The Dark Knight. I'm not sure how much I can say about it. I think I'll start a spoiler-ific thread for it.

but where is this real? i saw something about a massive time machine thingy at the end of the trailer, and someguy was being shocked by lighting.
And are you trying to say that i have achne, delbubs?
It's 'real' in the sense that, if there were actual superheroes with amazing powers and gadgets running around, the world would be a far different place than it is. If geniuses like Tony Stark or Reed Richards really lived in our world, would we still be driving cars run on gasoline? If Madison Jefferies, a mutant who could manipulate metal, existed would he be doing manual labour jobs or using his powers for his own financial benefit? If Thor were here, would he demand to be worshipped for the god he is? These are the kind of ideas The Watchmen story deals with inside the framework of a conspiracy/murder mystery, and it's one of the reasons the book is so popular.

Saw Iron Man, liked it, though I wish there was more Iron Man in it. Next movie can rectify that.

    I saw X-Files 2 the other night.

Don't bother; wait for DVD. It's not a movie. It would've been an okay episode, but it's not a movie. (I did enjoy it, though.)
