Marrina in Blackwulf #5
I found a previously undocumented Alpha Flight appearance from Oct 1994: issue #5 of Blackwulf. If youre all, "Who the Bendis is Blackwulf?", try this page for some info.
Marrina appears in 1 panel in flashback to the time she was an honorary member of the Avengers, a battle scene with the Kree Sentry android from Avengers #289.
When I get the chance, I'll scan in the image.

She also appears in Avengers #3 (199on a monitor screen saying she is deceased

Avengers 3! Nice! Out of curiosity, why didn't you mention this before? I appreciate the info but I'm wondering... any others you could share?
I only bought Blackwulf #5 today after finding a complete run at my LCS. I had heard somewhere, in a forum (not this one) about the Marrina appearance, but it was unconfirmed so I didn't mention anything. Actually the LCS had 5 complete runs, weird.
If anyone (completist!!!) wants a copy I can get one for $1.11USD

Wow, what a strange coincidence that we both made a little discovery like this, both Marrina sightings, just a few days apart. Very suspicious. Very, very suspicious.

Damn I deleted the scan from photobucket by accident, oh well at least you got it though
Ah, I came across a variant copy of Avengers vol. 3 #1. It's a sketch variant with "Rough Cut" on the cover and the inside pages are pencil sketches. Marrina's head appears on p18, just like the color version but without the text "DECEASED" underneath it. When I get the chance, I'll do a scan.

Oooh I found two more variant covers of the Avengers v3 #1 issue. One is the "sunburst variant" and the other is a chromium Marvel Collectible Classic. The sunburst variant is rare, but possible to find, appx $10 or so, but the chromium one is scarce, prepare to break around $25-30 for it in any decent condition. That's four covers now that I found. Here are some pictures!
I really like the chromium one because it's a relief of the Perez artwork used on the regular cover.
