Ultimate Alpha Flight debuted in Ultimate X-Men #94 with Vindicator, Shaman (James Proudstar), Jubilee, Sunfire, Sasquatch (Rahne Sinclair), Snowbird (Dani Moonstar) and Aurora. The team ambushes the X-Men in the middle of a friendly baseball game. All of its members appear to use godlike powers; they easily managed to take down the X-Men and kidnap Northstar. It is later revealed by Wolverine, who apparently has a history with them on this universe as well, that they used the Mutant Growth Hormone called Banshee to enhance their abilities, making them more powerful than normal mutants.

If it's true, then it's pretty likely Vindicator is John Walker, and only Aurora is Canadian. Hard to believe but I guess they mean that in the Ultimate Universe Canada is the 51st state, and Inuit people are extinct.

They never said ultimate Snowbird was Inuit, so I'm not sure why people are saying that.

Also Vindicator HAS to be a mutant, and a person Rogue knows.

They want to bring Northstar back to Canada, like how in the main universe [Uncanny X-Men #120-121], Alpha Flight wanted to bring Wolverine back to Canada.

Well after looking at all the images of Ut.Guardian.
I have a strange feeling that it Gambit even thought they killed him but am not sure it they really did killed him......just make it looked like he been killed.

Well...It just sums up how I feel about the portrayal of "Ultimate" Alpha Flight in "Ultimate" X-Men....This book and these characters do nothing to make Alpha Flight look good (or even the X-Men, for that matter).

Personally, it seems to me that "Ultimate" has become more synonomous with "Twisted".

Ultimate - the finest or most superior quality of its kind

Twisted - distorted, misrepresented, perverted - twisted (having an intended meaning altered or misrepresented) "many of the facts seemed twisted out of any semblance to reality"; e.g. "a perverted translation of the poem"
