More essential Alphan

When I think of Avengers I always think Cpatain America and THor. XMen is Cyclops and Wolverine
I think Puck and Sasquatch are 1 and 2 with order not an issue and the Hudsons tied for 3 cuz of what they did, so the question is, who is the more essential Alphan- Shaman or the twins (Northstar and Aurora- I dont want any Silver Auric jokes)

Honestly? I know Northstar is far more popular, but I'd have to go with Shaman if we're just talking Alpha Flight essentials here. There were times when one or both of the twins weren't around for whatever reason, and I barely even noticed (except maybe things flowed a little smoother without all their drama), but whenever Shaman wasn't around, you definitely noticed, especially if it was a situation involving magic. I think his ties to Snowbird and the Great Beasts make him far more essential to the team than the twins.

And since we're on the subject of the twins, a buddy of mine brought up a good point about them...do they remind you of anybody?



Esp. When they touch hands to activate their powers and the fact that they sport elf ears for no particular reason...
