We see Snowbird turn into Sasquatch, a page of Alpha Flight being killed by the Collective, Coyote is a Skrull and Snowbird and Hercules get it on.

Also Sasquatch, Aurora/Northstar and many others are still alive so all her loved ones arn't dead.

Really enjoyed this issue. I like the way Snowbird has been written thus far. Van Lente truly would be an awesome choice for an Alpha Flight scribe. While I truly am enjoying his run on Hercules and dont want to see him go. Hes just so perfect for Alpha. But hey he can do both and make everyone happy. How bout it Fred? But why oh why is Kirby going to betray us. It just wont be the same with Amadeus Cho if his pup is not in tow. As far as the ending goes. It was good to see Snowbird let off a little steam. With all shes been through she deserves to unwind a little. Maybe for a romantic follow up her and Herc can go pound the hell out of Pointer. Now that is romance!

Wow, one of the best comic books I have read, ever. Really, no exaggeration. I did have to look up "Atalanta" but otherwise, just amazing.
I am very impressed with this Mr. v. Lente guy!
The artwork also, just excellent. I liked how Snowbird was drawn without her white crown thingy at the end, too.
I loved how assembled among the multi-eyed, tentacled, snaggly faced, drooling, fanged monsters included in "Every night terror that ever lurked in darkness" is a 4x4 Rubik's Cube, Mary Poppins and an IRS auditor. :P And it's nice to see the auditor dude get punched out by Atum on the next page!
I'm looking forward to the next issue! Hopefully ,the relationship between Narya and Hercules will last more than just a few issues and we'll be seeing her ongoing in this book?

Yeah, and monogamy among demi-gods isn't exactly the norm. I think Snowbird and Hercules would make a great couple, but not as good as Snowbird and Talisman. Now THAT would be a power couple!
