Omega Flight series was successful but Marvel seems to have nothing set for them in the future. 5 issues does not make me,an "old school" Alpha Flight fan, feel US.Aget, Arachne, Beta Ray Bill and Michael Pointer really belong to the AF universe.

Besides the death of some fan favourites such as Puck or Heather we still have other good and interesting characters from the AF universe that could make a new series work. Sasquatch, Talisman, Northstar, Aurora, Snowbird, Madison Jeffries and Diamond Lil are out there yet. Why is it so difficult for Marvel to see that most of us want their return (and in the same book)? Let Wolverine stay for a few issues, find a good writer and a good artist for them and we'll all run to the comic's store, won't we?

That I see as how little Marvel gives a damn about AF, and how horrible a writer Bendis is. I know many people sing his praises, but I haven't seen anything to make me think he has talent.
Wolverine, if used to help launch a new book, would be a welcomed addition to AF IMO. He doesn't have to be in the book permanently, or even for more than the first arc, just long enough to get some new readers.

Yeah, he is, that's why I'm saying he only needs to be there temporarily. Have him stay for the first six isues (which within the time frame of the story may only be a few hours) and he can take off afterwards to head back to all the other teams he's on. No fuss, no muss.

For those who believe mrmarvel28 is a Marvel insider...I highly doubt it...He doesn't have moderator privileges, he's had many a thread locked by moderators (because he posted in the wrong place) and I believe the rumored Alpha Flight "return" he was referring to is their upcoming appearance in Marvel Adventures: Iron Man.
