If i remember correctly, doesn't the "Marvel Adventures" titles take place in a more "simplified" universe, before all the MU went nuts with M Day and Civil War?

What's interesting is that the writer of this issue is the same person who's writing the new Wolverine book which he's stated will also include AF in some issues.

Oh? I am wondering, how childish? 'Cause I do beleive that i will still pick it up - Alpha Flight is Alpha Flight. Or is it?

Cool! I definitely plan on picking up the Wolverine: First Class series as well, for the AF appearance, of course. I am kind of cooled on Wolverine himself, he has been way overused in the last, oh, say ten years or more...
But hopefully this will feature AF as we knew and loved them.

Well, yes and no. We do get an appearance by Alpha Flight, the original Alpha Flight team. Hey, isn't that what we have all been asking for?
And, we get Fred Van Lente doing this one, plus we also get Fred doing Wolverine: First Class, which will also feature Alpha Flight, the original Alpha Flight, and these stories will be in the 616-Universe.

Hey, look on the bright side! It looks like we have found another writer who is a fan of Alpha Flight!
