Some Omega Flight insight down a bit in the article.

Yeah, I know it's in the 'Thank You' thread but some may not find it if they are not following that thread.

This is indeed a sad day. I think Scott's Sasquatch was just incredible, and it will be hard losing that so soon.

I'll be following his work for sure. I really enjoyed his art in OF.

a couple of interesting of tid-bits.

scott put in a proposal for alpha flight, which he feels would have been approved today (it was turned down at the time)

also, maybe a omega ongoing at this point has more to do with finding a new creative team that will fit the book.

    One can hope, varo.

I enjoy Scott's artwork (and loved his comments about Chuck Austen, 'weirdo'. It's about the tamest thing I've heard anyone call Austen after having to work with him.

Part 2 of his interview should be interesting, too.
Keep your stick on the ice.

    Live it.

well, i have not seen sasquatch and guardian drawn as well as scott did since byrne. really could tell he was a old school alpha fan.

i really appreciate everything he did for us alpha fans. seems like we are losing all the alpha backers to dc.

Then Joe should sell the AF rights to DC if he's not going to use them.

You said it. Even better (IMHO) would be to sell the rights to an independent company who'll do their best to make the book good.

Well...That's been more of an ongoing issue at Marvel, lately...More so, than at DC.

At DC, there have been many, many international heroes over the years, like The Global Guardians, the second Doom Patrol (had two heroes that weren't Americans), Justice League International, The Rocket Red Brigade, Stalinovolk (sp?...also from Russia)...And most recently the Great Ten from China.

ALPHA FLIGHT IS RESURRECTED, LONG LIVE ALPHA FLIGHT!
