You know - after reading issue #5, I am really beginning to like him as the new Guardian. With him as Guardian, you're putting someone with major power (as seen) on the team - to finally take Alpha Flight seriously. (Well if BRB stays on the team - then it becomes an insanely powerful team, if you toss in Talisman who seems to have really mastered her powers over magic).

Having power in their lineup does not equal them being taken seriously, those are two distinct and different issues.
It has been a long time since Flight has been taken seriously, or treated with the respect they deserve (see the way a powerful AF team got decimated, to pave the way for the new OF, by way of an example).
I said, before OF came out, that Marvel would have to "wow" me. So far, the creative team on this mini-series has done a damned fine job of wowwing me, but Marvel themselves? - not a chance. They still treat us like we do not matter to them, as far as I am concerned. Look at the amount of comics this mini-series sold, and STILL no announcement of an ongoing?!?!
Sheesh...
