Default AF Movie Cast...Who do you think should play..?

Okay, sorry if this has been done before, but I've been looking around and can't find much about it...then again, perhaps I'm blind. That's certainly what Specsaver's thinks...

So, just out of curiosity, IF there was an Alpha Flight movie:

    -> Who should play who?

-> What characters should be included? Original AF or a mix of later characters?

-> What bad guy/girl(s) do you think should be included?

-> Original storyline or comic book storyline?

-> Costumes? Or cleverly designed uniforms, or whatever. Just...y'know...not leather. I just can't picture Shaman in black leather...

-> Aaand what about a theme song!

Okay, again, sorry if this sort of thing has already been posted, but I was just curious as to what other people would think and say about the design of an AF movie...

    Thanks!

    Xx Hatheny @-;-

Twice... but so what? It's a fun topic.

(Um... Thinking this might've been easier if we answered who should be in it before we decide who plays them?)

    Original. Of course.

    Guardian: Ed Harris
Shaman: Albert Holstein (don't know the actor's name. That's a character on X-Files)
    Snowbird: 7 of 9
    Heather: Gillian Anderson
Puck: ( ? the dwarf from Pirates?)
    Marrina: Nastashia Kinsky

I don't know about the others. Of course, this is in ideals; a few of those people are now too old.

Villains: Either the Master: Allan Rickman
or the Beasts (CG. Voices could include James Earl Jones. Hey, I like the classics.)

Original. Something involving a new character, as a POV character for the audience to relate to (though not necessarily a new member.)

    I can.
    Thanks for the mental picture!
Cleverly designed uniforms; something you can imagine people wearing, but that still have their origins in the original costumes.
I'm just really tired of seeing superheroes in leather.

Okay, that hasn't been asked before...

I'm thinking original score by John Williams. But we'll see.

Tried posting on this yesterday but the board didn't seem to want to accept what I put, so here goes again...

Guardian (Mac) - Eric McCormack (Will and Grace)
Puck - Vern Troyer (options may be limited...)
Walter Langowski - Matthew Perry (I know he isn't tall/broad enough really, but I think he could capture the personality)
Shaman - I was going to suggest Lou Diamond Phillips, but have just read about his domestic violence offences...

Re: Gillian Anderson as Heather. Definitely.

Meh. His Aurora looked perfect, but the rest... Daniel Jackson (as I know him) was too young for Mac; but he might make an interesting JP.
Some of the others weren't bad choices, but none of them were (imho), great.

I've been thinking about this, and I've found the perfect actress for Snowbird!

"Everyone knows that dragons don't exist. But while this simplistic formulation may satisfy the layman, it does not suffice for the scientific mind. The School of Higher Neantical Nillity is in fact wholly unconcerned with what does exist. Indeed, the banality of existence has been so amply demonstrated, there is no need for us to discuss it any further here. The brilliant Cerebron, attacking the problem analytically, discovered three distinct kinds of dragon: the mythical, the chimerical, and the purely hypothetical. They were all, one might say, nonexistent, but each nonexisted in an entirely different way..."
