Oh! STang! Those good issues from vol 3 should be added to the list of items Odin had to collect for the Norns along with the breath of a fish and all the other positively EXISTANT thngs down there.

as memorable as issue #12 was i really feel issues 23 and 24 were incredible and took the great beats storyline to the next step, plus it seemed byrnes art got more, i don't know, cleaner.

but, the ultimate issues in this run, or any other run were 25 and 26.

the set up and twist on this story were unreal, and as a young kid i almost cried.

To be honest, yer not gonna make much money selling them. Maybe once Omega Flight takes off they will be in more demand, but I've seen the whole collection go on ebay for under $100 The real value in the books is in reading and enjoying them

I agree with Ben on this. There are very few that are worth more that a buck or two. If you're in it for the money, sell them as a lot. If you want to enjoy them for their true value, start at issue #1 Vol 1 and keep reading. Fall in love with the characters and become a regular poster here at the AlphaFlight.net forums.

Hmm, I thought that story was the weakest of the Byrne era.

Actually, I liked that one. It's an interesting look at Walt. What I first notice is that he wanted from the start to kill the super skrull and that's what he did without remorse. Well, kill is always a to big word in MArvel Universe.

No, I think Pink pearl story line was lot more weak.

Byrnes run (1-28 )is good for continuity.

Issue 20(Gilded Lily) is very gothic if you like that sort of thing and has good Aurora development.

Personally, I think the X-men/Alpha Flight mini series(number 1) is very good, by Chris Claremont and Paul Smith. If this is in your collection it is an enjoyable read.
