Flashback in HoM

I just saw that Flashback makes (what seems like) a pretty significant appearance in the House of M tie in New Thunderbolts issue.

Pretty cool. He is a pretty decent character when treated properly and I think in those 3 or 4 panels it shows.

Flashback is a third-rate, second string mutant with a weird limited power, how is he gonna take on Genis-Val?

Genis would twist his molecues until the nulcei fell out, he would punch his soul until the eco-plasm bleeds out his cerebral cortex, and stuff like that.

He messes him up real good by accident, or at least that's what the first couple of pages show.

I miss Genis-Val, what happened to him anyway, he just sort of walked away or something.
