    Default very, very, very interesting

from jb's forums when asked about alpha.

Yeah, mostly. A few years after the fact I was
approached about doing a NorthStar series, and I
had some ideas in that direction, but Marvel
ultimately chickened out. (The editor who had
pitched the project was Gay, and he wanted to
emphasize that element in the series. I had no
problem with that, and indeed wanted to be on board
to make sure it was handled right -- ie, not simply for
the sake of sensationalism. The Powers that Were
at Marvel looked over the proposal and said I had
asked for too much money. Since I had asked, for
penciling, scripting and inking less than half what
Andy Kubert was getting for just penciling, methinks
there was some lack of spine-age more than lack of
    coinage at work.)

I can't believe I missed this post(soo sorry, Varo)...That would have been really cool. It's too bad it didn't see light(no pun intended). I wonder if it was to be a limited series or an on-going?

I imagine it would have been an LS. That really is too bad.
