    Default Wanted: Alpha Flight

Over the years, I owe a lot of my comic book collection, especially my Alpha Flight collection, to other people's generosity. However, most of this has been done off list with the people I know well (as if I needed to say this, but thanks again guys, I owe you guys alot).

Of course, there are those of us on this list who don't have the same luxuries I have had over the five years I've been apart of the Alpha Waves community, such as lasting friendships, etc, with the other members of the board, thus haven't had the opportunity to explore the unparalleled generousity of the others on the board.

The purpose of this list is to list what titles you currently have - or need - to finish off your Alpha Flight collection, and, for those of use in the capacity to help out, to see how we can expand our reach of Alpha Brotherhood. I'll start this list with the next post, and encourage you to do the same. Who knows: maybe someone here can help! This is also a good place to list any extra issues you might have.

It's suggested you update anytime you get (a) new issue(s).

Won't be for a while. I can pick them up quite cheap, but for that I'd still need cash, so gotta wait a while

Will let you know when I pick them up

Yowch! As of last week, that's the only issue of Damage Control I -don't- have. (Sydney comic shop didn't have it, but had my other holes.)

Is that X-Man or X-Men? I've got X-Men 112 & 113 listed in my appearances file, but not X-Man. Then again, you do have both.

Well, considering X-Man ended with issue 100, I assume its X-Men (wasn't really paying attention to what I was typing). Along the same lines, I DO have the whole 'Eve of Destruction' series, so I don't need X-Men 112 or 113.

'The Gift' is in the TPB. I guess you want every printing of every appearance? Or is that the second series TPB? Was there one?
Ooh, and I just realised that tho' Marrina was only in Avengers 3.47, the Master was in 45 & 46.

Actually, 'the Gift' was the title of the first issue of the limited series, that was later turned into a TBP. I have the TPB and the first issue of the first limited, but I need the second... I hate having partial limiteds (got a lot of those), even if I do have the TPB

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!

Being as hard to find as they were, I settled for the "X-Men classics" (or Classic X-Men, I forget how that went) version. If you're buying just for the sake of the story and don't care whenther it's the orignal, save yourself a few bucks and some heavy searching. Plus they added a couple of pages to the story when the re-printed it. Nothing major, but still nice to have.
