that was an undeniably bad comic though. poor northstar. certainly not how i would want my sexuality be brought to the table
I can't believe it's been 10 years.
I always thought the book was great minus the pencils. Pacella's art always bugged me for some reason. It looked like he was trying to be Liefeld but actually was worse than him. If thats even possible.
As for the story? At the time it was a revelation to me because I always thought of NS as a womanizer. I was 13 or 14 and didn't really read too much into comics other than who was fighting who and where. When I got older and I read throught the whole series again I saw how the issue was inferred through Byrne's writing.
