    Default Shaman's Tribe??

I'm just kind of curious...have they ever mentioned what tribe Shaman was from?? Just curious because I'm writing something that involves him in a fanfic that may or may not see the light of day.

    Thanks,

Shaman is of the Sarcee tribe, of which his grandfather was a great Medicine Chief. The main bulk of these peoples are located in northern Alberta.

    Thanks, Ben!

I could have sworn that it was Sarcee, but didn't want to go off of my memory.

    Cheers,

It's pretty hard to dig up solid information on that group. From what I've read, they have a fairly close relationship to the Cree and Ojibwa, though, so perhaps reading a bit into the elements of those cultures might help in spurring ideas for Shaman. Best of luck with your project.

From what I could glean from the net, The Sarcee were originally part of the Beaver (? sure thats what it said), but a row ensued and two sides appeared, one remained the Beaver tribe while the other became the Sarcee. Will have to dig out the link at some point.

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!
