Caliber was fun in that lame supervillan cannon fodder way. He was more pompous than Dr. Doom yet kept getting his butt handed to him by Alpha.

If I'm remembering correctly, Caliber is one of the few bad-guys that ALPHA FLIGHT could take down, outright. He was fun, in an over-the-top, comic-book way...with not too much panel-time. He was dangerous, too, which is another reason I liked him; taking him down made AF a bit more formidable.

Nothing like good ol' cannonfodder to increase your self-worth :P And let's face it: that's exactly what Calibre WAS in AF: Cannonfodder - a means to an end.
