Welcome Ravenheart, you came at a bad time with the aftermath of what happened to AF in New Avengers #16 . Anyways welcome to the board and enjoy your stay.

    NAME: Shawn Granger
    BIRTH DATE: 1969
    LOCATION: Hollywood
    OCCUPATION: Film/TV/Comics
INTERESTS: New ways to make my daughter laugh.

I currently have a couple of films in the Hollywood machine, some stuff showing at the Cannes this year, and writing for King Tractor Press including INNOCENT (The Sword mini-series and the regular OGN series), FAMILY BONES, and will soon launch a daily webcomic.

That's it...mostly. I've been around the Alpha Flight group since the early days. I was still at CNN then...long, long time ago. I kind of got distracted and the lack of AF kind of put me on the lurk mode. But I'm still around.

BIO:I discovered your website years ago and lurked unitl now. I appreciate the hard work and community you established here. Thanks for having us.

I was a sporadic collector of Alpha Flight. I would read them in store and then buy the ones I liked, which were unfortunately few and far between. I believe that most writers just did not get "IT".

I look foreword to seeing a New Alpha Flight better than before (Not hard in my opinion).

    Cheers

Alpha Flight has the distinction of being a team I love without having ever seriously followed the comic. I was always more of an X-Men reader (a title which has since alienated me, and become incomprehensible to those who haven't been keeping score), but I always loved Alpha Flight when they turned up in Chris Claremont's issues.

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!

Own the entire arc of that wonderful, wonderful series. In collected form, of course.

And yeah... Spider Jerusalem makes me happy.

In a gut-churning, angry, "oh-dear-lord-not-the-face" kind of way.

I have from #8 - 60 and every TPB, most signed by Ellis and Ramos. Pure class and probably, imo, the 'V for Vendetta' of the 90's.

Hi there everybody, just thought I'd be polite and introduce myself.

I've been a big AF fan since I first saw eyes on them in X-men, and I am currently trying to get hold of all the old issues (not easy here in Norway).

Interests outside comics is RPG's, Music and HeroClix (I have a killer Alpha Flight HC team).
