Generally, I'm impressed.
I won't go into too much detail though

The plot IS Giant Size X-Men #1, with Walter taking on the Professor X role.
He's mostly see in his human form, rarely as Sas, but when he does, it'a more from the shadows and not seeing him fully, arms grabbing etc, probably for new readers to give it a more of a Jeckel & Hyde persona possibly?
It does make him look more intelligent though, using his 'powers' only when logical bargaining fails with certain members.
Nemesis stays as mysterious as ever, but Walt definitely seems to know about her, and there are definitelt nods to longtime readers re: past incarnations.

Out of all the characters Major Mapleleaf Jnr. seems to be the weakest.
The rest I was impressed with.

His name's Yukon Jack, he's a new character.
Saying more would spoil his introduction....

How bad ass is that name? Yukon FREAKIN' Jack? Is it possible to have a new favorite character based solely on the way he looks and his NAME?
