Just been reading up on Wendigo @ http://marvelbook.topcities.com/rtuw/wendigo.htm

Could anyone give me a pointer on what comics I would need to read about the AF events described there.

Also, elsewhere on the same site (not sure which character entry) I saw something about AF facing off against Apocalypse (alongside the Avengers) again issue pointers would be appreciated.

Uncanny X-Men #139-140 for the original meeting, and then Wolverine #172 (Tieri's issue)

As to fighting Apocalypse, I'm pretty sure that's confusion.
Possibly thinking of Sasquatch and Northstar having small cameo's in Avengers Forever (#11 & 12) or in Marvel Universe:The End perhaps?
