I'm almost in total agreement here, apart from UXM 414 which had Northstar on his first mission and that exploding kid. Actually made me appreciate NS as a character.

Personal favourites off the top of my head:

Wolverine #172-3. This is THE classic AF as only Byrne had written them. Tieri does an amazing job here.
Exiles #5-6. A nice alternate Alpha team.
Exiles #32. A really nice Alt (White) Sasquatch cover by Liam Sharp.
Exiles #33. Pretty much an all (Alt) Sasquatch issue, with some cameos. Penned by Judd Winwick, quite a nice inisht into sas, even if it's not ours.
Wolverine #179-180. Introduces Shaman's protogé. Not a bad story...
Uncanny X-Men #414. As with Del, the only Austen issue I'll endorse.

One's to avoid:
X-Men Unlimited #45. All AF, All out of character.

One thing going through my head recently, Austen writes AF for ****, but does a pretty good job when writing NS. Just an opinion.
