I just listened to a podcast explaining what happened to Wild Child in Hellions #7. Has anyone read it and have an opinion on his current status?

He was killed and resurrected under the cloning process. He returned “different” and is Wild Child but more violent and wants to bred. He tore through an army of robots fairly easily and was disappointed there was no blood and the issue ended. More will be revealed about his “change”

I think it has potential.
It's reversing him back to how he was when Mac found him, and Wolverine fought him in the Niceiza era (see MCP).

So whilst he's not his Byrne-esque eloquent but evil, he's not the AoA-esque devolved version that we've seen lately.
