A lot of people seem to think all members of AF are mutants - which might explain Snowbird.

Persuasion and Purple Girl? Last I checked, they were the same person?
(This is comics, I could just be out-of-date.)

    Wait, this is Bagley?
His art style has got way less angular!

Just saw Darkhawk on there; he's an alien-empowered human, isn't he, not a mutant?

I specified the difference because one looks distinctly older than the other.
Chances are neither are actually Kara!

    It's Portal, rather than Darkhawk.

That makes sense - but I imagine one is Kara, if it's supposed to be every mutant ever. (They must've found a handbook, a list, something?)

Portal? I don't know that character, but not-Darkhawk might explain it. Now if we can figure out why Snowbird is on there?

I don't see Flex or Windshear any where. On an sort of Alpha Flight-related note, I see the Mandrill is there, but I can't find Nekra (who Alpha Flight fought in later issues of their original series) at all.

Are Flex and Windshear technically mutants? Or Nekra?
    I'm genuinely unsure here.

Yeah Flex and Windshear are mutants and lost their powers during M-Day

Okay, then one of us here is clearly confused and it's not you.

Of course, Nekra is a mutant. She was born around the same time as the Mandrill was, their parents worked together.

Of course, Nekra is a mutant. She was born around the same time as the Mandrill was, their parents worked together at a nuclear power plant.

    No worries.
Nekra and Mandrill are basically characters I've heard of, and run into in my comics reading, and I could recognise them if I saw them - but that's about it. (Apparently I thought I knew more about them than I did!)
