Yeah just call him Walter, don't like the nickname either. I wonder if Aurora quit? and Puck is really used a lot in this issue. Writers do like him.

I've got a colleague named Justinieta, and I've been considering asking her if there were a shorter version I could call her. It's just too much to throw out in a mouthful... "Hello, Mi-i-k", "Hi Hoo-stinietta"...

So I don't mind 'Squatch' so much.

Then again, I'm very loose with names.

Having just read it, yeah, the constant 'Squatch' is annoying (I'd hope it'd be S'quatch at least, to show it's a contraction), but I also notice: it's only Carol doing it.

I just think Walt or Sas would suffice if it's for the purpose of less syllables.

But I suppose a cute nickname humanises them and their relationship a bit more.

I just hope it's not connected to him not being able to turn human.
