I actually like this Alpha Flight logo, even though it's similar to the Avengers.

It's a combination of the Avengers A, the AF-jet logo, and Danvers' symbol from the looks of it.
I like it, and the idea of bringing AF closer to the Avengers.

If core members of the original AF are in this incarnation I will get it made into a legit flag

Sounds to me, like they just named the space station Alpha Flight.

AF have been referred to as a team in Ultimates, and interviews have mentioned that the members will be based at the Triskelion when not in space so it's definitely more than just the station. They just haven't yet told people which members of the classic AF are based there. If any, obviously...
