According to comicbook.com, the starfield woman is a brand new character named Singularity... with a rather unique background story.

Hmm... so she's basically a new version of the Beyonder?
I believe it's because she's in the "Thors" title http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=59542
I couldn't see any of the characters inside the actual issue.
Awwwww I was going to pick up the issue after work. Guess I don't have to
From a non-Alpha point of view it's a very strong, well-written issue. I enjoyed the story.
It's still on my pull-list but I just won't rush after work to get it. I'll pick it up the weekend. Womp womp
Well, no Alphans on the cover to the A-Force ongoing...

Maybe on a variant, as sure that issue will have lots.
Good point.

Is she inside, or is that just cover art?
It's also a little weird that almost all of them are Asgardian or otherwise not magic related, but a few of them aren't (Tigra, Misty Knight, the woman in black-and-white who I should be able to recognise but can't but I'm pretty sure is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent... Gamora wasn't, but she looks Asgardian in this picture).
I also don't recognise the Asgardian to the right, 'above' Domino.

Excellent!
