I saw Alpha Flight on TV! ABC ran a Marvel documentary thingy called "Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop" in place of Agents of Shield this week. While they are talking about the 60s and introducing diversity into comics and a small bit about the X-Men being a symbol for persecution of minorities, the wraparound cover of Astonishing X-Men #51 (the wedding issue) pops onto the screen with some animated confetti. Nothing is actually said about gay, same sex, homosexual, none of those words, you know, because Disney. But still it's neato to see Alpha Flight on the TV!
